Sure, there are plenty of cutbacks but one area people nationwide are NOT cutting back on is rejuvenation surgery. Moreover, statistics show the typical plastic surgery patient is not a BevHills fashion matron, as your blog suggests, but a middle America housewife with two children, living in a home that has less than a $50K annual income. You may have some anecdotal cases of people cutting back but, overall, the cosmetic plastic surgery industry is chugging right along. But on the other side, I know a few people who went to have a holiday on Caribbean and came back with a tummy tuck. It's much cheaper there, comparing to LA. But I guess every market finds its buyer.
