rmbrME - Socially-Networked Business Cards via Text
rmbrME allows you to connect with business partners, leads and other people via text messaging. Pretty cool - It’s nice because if you don’t want to worry about getting an email or managing hundreds of business cards this tool totally works. Not too sure if I’ll remember to use it though - unless if it can be fed into my contact management system. I do like it because it provides a photo id on the profile with all of the various social networks a person may belong to. So many times I meet people but forget who was who when comparing business cards. This allows me to remember people by a photo id - genius!
How to tell you’re all grown up
Pretty funny post I found while Stumbling around the Internet tonight. Wanted to share it with you guys. Don’t cry too much you old farts (btw I was answering ‘yes’ to all of these too - don’t judge!).
Tweetup Events in San Diego are Taking Off!
A couple of weeks ago was the (fifth I believe) San Diego Tweetup at the W Hotel in downtown. Thanks to Jenn Van Grove (@jbruin) for yet again hosting & organizing another fabulous meetup. I met some cool local peeps including Dmitry Shapiro, founder of Veoh Video Network and others. There was a GREAT turnout - I would estimate between 100 to 120 people showed up (Awesome!!).
Again, Dan Tentler was the photo master at the event - so I’m using photos from him taken that night below. More photos can be found at his Flickr stream.
The next SD Tweetup is Tuesday 9/23 at 7:30pm at the Pearl Hotel in Point Loma.

See you all at the next Tweetup! Cheers bitches.

Free drinks is never a bad time…
Introducing BITCH (p.s. It’s a wine!)
While traveling throughout Southern California over Labor Day, we stopped at this local country market in Pismo Beach where I found BITCH. No no, not Paris Hilton - a wine called BITCH (2007). A South Australia Grenache wine imported by The Grateful Palate. I couldn’t resist the chance to buy it (it’s a best seller in this market and yet no reviews on the TASTE of the wine) and share it here. If I ever open and drink it I will definitely let you guys know how it tastes
